Hey guys,

My rotors are damn near frozen on, and I can't seem to find a way to get them off after all the banging on the front of the hub and between the studs AND even with a block of wood behind it. Any suggestions? Maybe a metric ton of PB Blaster and a prayer?

Thanks!

Check to see if they have an allen screw holding them on?

Does the rotors have the pinch bolt holes in them? There should be two opposing threaded holes between the studs. Find two grade 8 bolts that will fit the thread size. tighten them up evenly and they'll press up against the hub pushing the rotor out. that will usually do the trick. Sometimes you have to crank on them and it will eventually pop out, Just be careful not to shear the bolt off. kind of tricky sometimes when there really frozen on there. Ive broke a few off before.

Do you have all the bearings out? Pull the Inner and outer bearings out then the rotor should just slide off.

Yes, on your 2wd the rotor and hub are one piece and are held on by the wheel bearings.

Remove the dust cap on the very snout of the hub, remove the cotter pin and take the nut off. The rotor will now slide right off.

Ah ha! That would explain the source of my continued grief. Thanks Sasquatch, I'll have to give that a try later today.
