Frost plug size in 94 2.3

I have a leaking frost plug in my 94 2.3L Ranger. I have a 1 1/2" plug in the shop and I *think* it will fit but I want to be sure before I yank the old one out and find out the new one is the wrong diameter. Anybody know the diameter?
 
In case anyone is interested the frostplugs in the block are 1.5" and are available from NAPA!
