I've searched around and read as many thread as I can but I can't seem to find a stright answer to my question.

If I put an Aussie locker in my front end will I notice it when I'm in 2wheel drive? My truck is and 07 and I don't really understand the hub set-up yet but it's a "live" set up or something like that...

I'm sure the answer is probably no, but I want some feedback from someone more experienced than I....

They don't make one for the 8.8 28 spline and I don't really want to change my rear axle so I'm just looking at one for the front right now....

You will probably hear faint clicking, I know I do if I leave my hubs locked in, but it wont affect anything in 2wd. Powertrax makes lockers for your rear axle.

Reider Racing went under thats why Torsen put there front diff on hold. The only other LSD that works the same way as the Torsen is the Quaife diff. But the shock part is the price of the Quaife I'm told they are the best.

Thanks, I didn't know that. It was maybe two or three years ago I heard about them modding the True Trac to fit.

my buddy just put lock rites fron and rear in his 2003. he cant feel anything in the front when he driving in 2wd. he loves it.

Aussie is making a front one now:

I'll probably go with a lock-right for the rear, detroits are a bit too pricey.

Looks like it'll end up being an Aussie locker right away for the front and a lock-right for the rear this summer....

Anyone have any other suggestions I should think about before making a buy here?
