Just curious who makes a front end locker for my 1994 4x4, and how much it will probably cost?

Are lockers installable by yourself? or would the best thing be to have a shop do the work?

Thank you!

The rear locker was easy to do with a small amount of research on this site.

After dismantling my front end that I destroyed down to its usable parts I wouldn't want to put a front locker on my truck any time soon =>

So a rig with a solid front end would be much easier to install a locker on?

aussie lockers are like 260 and the front isnt that hard to take apart.

Is an Aussie locker a good one?

I know its an "automatic locker"...I am guessing that means it is unlocked and the truck will drive like it is stock in 2wd then in 4wd when one tire begins to lose traction it locks up the front end?

Thank you

yes aussie lockers are good lockers. it locks when it gets torque from the drive shaft. its very street friendly and off road friendly i would suggest an aussie locker

Far as I can tell, an Aussie is like a Lockright. Should be good, I might go with a Lockright in my F150 when I feel I need it.

While you have it apart, good time to do the C-clip eliminator.

After having driven an F150 through a winter with a factory type Dana TrakLok
in it's dana44 front axle I can say that a 4x4 with a limited slip up front is a real hoot in snow...
