i'm in planning on swapping in a ball joint dana 60 here soon. my frame is 23.5 with 35's. I've had 37's on it and could probably clear 40's in the front. The fenders are trimmed a good amount though. I'll also be installing a small block 351 in it, so it won't sit as high because of the added wait.

your main issue is the way you built your brackets/sas. You probably arent going to find a leaf to do what you want without getting a rediculously stiff/arched springset.

+1...I think the front crossmember is screwing you. I've seen this on a couple SAS rigs first hand...too much drop in front x-member= flat springs with no articulation
