I am going to be cutting that front part of the fender by the bumper to level it with the middle piece and I was wondering, do I need to do something to smooth out the edge so I don't cut tire or will it be fine if I leave it?

I just took a sanding disc to mine to smooth it out some and have never had tire contact with 32s. do your tires rub there as of now?

My thought is... If the fender is still hitting the tire, you need to trim it more. :D

When I did mine, all I did was take a Dremel to the rough edge to round it off some just so it wouldn't cut your hand or arm if you brushed against it walking past (installing flares makes that a non-issue too, though it was a few months before I got the flares after trimming).

depending on exact area to be cut, i usually use a shear, it leaves a nice edge that is easy to roll. roll the edge no matter what if you can.
