Front End Noise when in 4WD.

So last night i took my truck in the snow and i put it in 4x4 and turned the tires all the way to one side it makes this horrible clanking noise like something is binding up but i have no idead what it is.Most of the time it does it is when im in reverse in 4WD but when going forward it doesnt do this as much..any ideas?

Sounds like seizing axle u joints.
