front end conversion

so i got a good deal on a 85 ranger 2x4 swb. i am putting a engine, aod trans, wiring harness, pcm, fuel injection all from a 92 mustang gt. problem is is that i dont like the front end on the 85's. i like the front end from the 89 to 93 or so. is there anybody that has ever swapped front ends from a 89 to a 85?? hard to do?? bolt right up?? i have a 89 ranger but is long wheel base. so would rather have a swb. any help would be appreciated.. thanks..

i heard of sumone doing it and need to change the whole front end including the fender wells and radiator support

Dont change it, I think both 1st and second gens look tits!! Its been done doesnt seem too hard just time consuming.

Swap it if you want, I think the 1st Gen's are the best looking Ranger's anyway

Its not hard, you just need new fenders, hood, grille, and bumper, direct bolt on.
