I've been following some of the threads about problems getting a Ranger 4X4 front end aligned properly.
I decided to shop around and see what I'd get. I called a couple of chain tire stores and even stopped in at a couple others and pretty much got the same story. It ranged from "We start at $51.95" to not sure if they could handle it.
I found a little one man shop that did a lot of Ranger front ends. He said "$140" and showed me a rack of bushings on the wall. He got the job. Took him 45 minutes to Change a bushing on the left wheel, center the steering wheel, and set the tow in.
When he came back from his test drive he asked "What's that hissing noise when it revs up?". He was impressed when I told him about the turbo engine.
He charged me $91.95. It even handles nicer.:icon_hornsup:
