Hey all, I have a question. My 97 ext cab 4x4 5speed needed a transfer case. I found a 2004 ext cab with 90,000 miles I got the transfer case and both drive shafts. Issue is that the front shaft is about 1inch short and I can't bolt it up. It is fully extended. Anyone have an idea why? We're the 97s longer?? Thanks in advance.

The front suspension is COMPLETELY different between a '97 and an '04, the front shaft won't work... you might be able to take the front output off of your old transfer case and put it on the new one, should just be one nut holding it on.
