How are you having an issue? What transmission and t-case are you using. I've had a few different setups and never had any front driveshaft issues with or without a suspension lift.

i already got my answer i was the one that started the full size tranny and transfer case thread so i got my answer from you lol i was wonderin how much that dual sump oil pan cost you
thanks Dan

ya, I realize that. I forget how much it cost me, I think it was a case of beer. I used to hang with a lotta mustang guys in ptbo back when I first did the swap....that was about ohhhhhhh 7 years ago now i think.

I am thrilled you got an answer, but would you or the person giving you the answer care to share it with the rest of the forum. Its not given in this thread or the other thread you reference.

I am not doing a V8 swap, but very close with a I-6 swap and early bronco tranny and D20 transfer case. I posted in transfer case forum and other than educating some guy that yes very early Rangers did have sway bar running in a channel in radius cross member, it got no replies.

In particular I still just want to know what the front driveshaft clearance over the radius cross member is in a stock 2.8 5spd 4wd ranger. Then I can figure out if my clearance will work. This is not something complicated or esoteric, I just need a measurement for a stock vehicle. Wish I had been smart enough to take such a measurement before removing the OEM drivetrain but I wasnt.

oh alrite so i have a fullsize f150 motor aka 302 with the fullsize tranny and transfer case my forum that i started was called ''can i run a fullsize f150 transmission and transfer case'' and i got a lot of help from the guys who answered me on that one and there are some pictures i have no clue what the stock clearence is but im sure one of these guys can help you out with that
