I have a 95 Mazda B4000 4x4 that I've been working on. The drive shaft going to the front passenger side tire is rubbing the inside of the ttb in one spot and I'm at a loss trying to find the cause. I recently installed 1.5" coil spacers to level the truck and replaced the radius arm bushings. It looks like shaft was rubbing prior to that work. The lift only moved the spot that's rubbing down the shaft a couple inches. Most info I've found says to just cut out the area of ttb that is rubbing but I want to fix the problem not the symptom. Wheel bearings and spindle bearings all look fine. Don't seem to have any slop in the u-joints either. Any answers or ideas are greatly appreciated.

That's why. There's not much clearance to begin with . Use a die grinder w/ a carbide bit or a grinder and cut away.

I assume you are talking about the window opening in the passenger side axle beam, and the *axle* shaft is rubbing there.

It shouldn't be rubbing there. Stock or lifted otherwise. The only time it rubs is when guys have lots of flex with their setups or something is damaged. If that side has damage and the radius arm and beam are too far forward or rearward due to a bent bracket or other component, then I can see this to occur.

Can we get some pics of the offending area as well as of the suspension in general from a few different angles?

The coil spacers, are they 1.5"s or do they provide 1.5" of lift?
