Front Diff Venting Fluid...

I raise my vent tube to the master cyl, and no leaks of fluid i think it worked how about you guys did it fix

I think i'm having the same problem. Is this the part you are talking about?

Yep exactly. I raised the hose, cliped it to the ABS pump lines and then stuck a clear fuel filter as a catch can/drain back basin about two inches down from the vent cap. So far, not a drop in the filter or otherwise. Ford fix $600, my fix $3....

nice. do you have any pictures, and how did you check the fluid level?

Sure I'll snap one for you in a few. I took the plug off the diff, the level was fine because I just changed it. My guess, even though it looks like a mess, it is really just a small amount of fluid and dirt. But check yours and top it off. I'll post the pics soon.
