How much of the clip from a second gen BII is bolt on to a first gen? Probably a dumb question but I found a deal on a second gen and need parts for my first.

all of it but you'll need to use all of it

To make it fit and and line up right you will need the core support, grille, fenders, and hood. Not sure about the bumpers.

the bumpers are different so youll need the bumpers too. you my also need to do something about the head light plugs but im unsure on that. the core support is spot welded on so youll need to` drill all of them out to swap the core support,

u can put second gen bumpers on a 1st gen but not the other way around

That's a bit of working just to fix the rust but the whole thing is cheaper than buying new parts. Doors swap too? It was just a front clip design change pretty much cosmetically with a thing here and there, right?

doors will swap clear up to first gen explorers
