Front Clip

I have a gen 1 ranger and want to put a gen 2 front clip on it. Can I do this with the stock core support?

yes. the cab and structure of the trucks are the same. just need gen 2 fenders, grille, hood, bumper, headlights and corner light. and youll have the convert your sealed beam headlight to the halogen bulb style that the gen 2 uses.

you will need to trim the core support so the headlights will fit. it took me about 3 hours start to finish. not all the fender bolt holes line up though.

I was just wondering if the headlights and grille will bolt up. I know I have to replace fenders and stuff which is no big deal, because mine need to be replaced anyways. I was looking at grilles for the gen 2 and it looks like the bottom bolt holes are different. I was also wondering if the headlights will bolt up to my core support. Thanks guys for any input.

yes just you have to make sure you get all the mounting tabs and a small bag of small nuts and bolts
