After realizing that my front driver side wheel bearing is shot I have to remove the calliper to get to it. However there are no bolts to take it off its like a 2 piece thing you squeeze to remove how the heck do I remove it?

Those are the rubber split pins

with a little bit of finesse you can simply drive them out with a punch.

there are two versions of special tool made by OTC and I have them both
but frankly you don't really need them

I use them, if Lost I'd buy another, the only vehicle I have that uses
that style of brakes is my Aerostar...

And my '93 ranger but I'm converting that one to the 1995-97 brakes.

A 6" 3/8'ths ratchet extension works perfectly. Use the fat side to push the pin into the track from the outside and use the thin side to push it through.

Using some brake grease on those pins helps immensely...especially when the caliper moves due to brake wear..
