I was wondering if anyone could post some picks of there gen 2 rangers with body lifts. I want to see how you did the front bumper brackets so i can fab my own up when i get a body lift thanks.

Your 88 is a Gen 1, not 2 BTW.

The bumper mounts are completely different from a gen 1 to a gen 2.

my bad lol i ment gen 1 i was in a hurry when i typed this but i need some pics of gen 1 front bumper brackets

well i plan on doing a 3 inch and i want to raise the bumpers the back bumper isn't a problem but i wanted to get some ideas for the front so i dont spend more time than i have to making brackets

Well I know my buddy simply cut the frame horns off and moved them up 3" and welded and braced them back to the frame.

I don't really want to cut them off i just wanted to fab something to them

i was looking at it today and the way it is now i would have to cut the bottom of my bumper out and the black piece out and move it up and then you would be able to see the frame under the bumper. that is if i dont move my bumper forward witch i think will look like crap.

ok if i just remove the bottom trim piece it will work if i do it the way I have been thinking
