I have tried to search the forum for an answer, but for some reason it goes to a blank page....

I have a 1994 Mazda B4000 4X4....The driver's side brake line began leaking just after the junction block where they split off to each side. I have tried to loosen the fitting, but I cannot get a wrench to fit it. I do not have flare nut wrenches, but any wrench I try does not fit SAE or metric....I would appreciate any help or insight to get this line off. I can tell it is smaller than the fitting at the master cylinder. I have been working on vehicles for over 40 years, but this has me puzzled.:icon_confused:

go buy a 4-6" pipe wrench.... your greatest friend when it comes to doing old brake lines! they are hard to find, but i think sears sells them.

I wanted to let you know I had to order a 6" pipe wrench through my local hardware store, Sears was out of them. It worked great! Thanks for the advice.
