front axle shaft

im looking for the passenger axle shaft for a 86 ranger. i snapped the yoke out 4 wheeling. now iam replacing all the u joints. i found out that they all were bad. but i cant find a axle shaft its the one coming out of the diff.

You need to post this in the wanted section of the classifieds, but any ranger or B2 from 83-93 with the dana 28 axle, they can be found in just about any junkyard anywhere

A wrecking yard (or another forum member here) are about your only bets. They have not been manufactured for quite some time now.

I'd say this is your cue to swap to the later (much stronger) Dana35 axle if you broke it while out wheeling.

I agree with 4x4junkie, if your replacing all joints, its money well spent to upgrade to the newer, stronger and more available D35...
