front axle keystone clamps???

does anybody know where i can get keystone clamps to hold the boot onto the passenger side outer and inner axle?

I'm guessing keystone clamps are the metal banding that hold the boot on. I'd try napa or some automotive supply place, but you could try zip ties, they are probably cheaper and easier.... no special tool required.

lol actually thats what i got on it now, is zip ties.

Autozone, just ask for generic cv boot clamps... Come with two. Zip ties dont get tight enough. Maybe $5

I'm using hose clamps on mine, seems to work well. Just be sure to trim any excess length off if there is any, otherwise it'll catch on the inside of the beam (BTDT lol).

If you use the big heavy duty zipties and tighten with channel locks it should get tight enough.

alright. well i went to advance and they said they dont carry em, but im still yet to try auto zone or napa. i was gonna put hose clamps on but they were too wide...... so im just gonna wait till i go to auto or napa.

get several #6 clamps they're the narrow ones and just a hair wider than the stock clamps. I just did that the other day, I was able to use a screwdriver and loosen the large one and crimp it back down, the small one didn't work the same, but had two #6 clamps and it should work fine.
