Does anybody know of a place where I can buy one? If you don't know what i'm talking about, it is a metal piece that is bolted to the hub by a 6mm 12 point bolt. The abs sensor itself is held in to place by this part.

I have looked everywhere and could not find it. :bawling:

I just looked on Autozone, and Rockauto's websites.

Both carry the part.

You have to buy the whole thing, it is a pre-wired loom with the sensor on one end and a plug on the other. It is about 2' long and runs between $50-$100 from the two sites.

Ford dealer would have it too.

Better yet, a wrecking yard would have em for cheap.

I just looked on autozone and I see what you are referring to. Unfortunately, that is not the part I need. This is a metal part, that is on the outside of the hub. The abs sensor is bolted on from the inside and the metal "cylinder" on the sensor slides through this part I need.

Oh yeah that piece. Mine broke and I don't run them anymore....hasn't affected anything as far as I can tell, since the sensor is bolted to the knuckle and not the "bracket".

Its that little tear drop shaped piece that serves no purpose. Or does it? Lol

Ford dealer couldn't find it so I just ditched both all together.

Yea I have no clue. Ever since I had to take mine off and the bolt head sheared off it, I just didn't run the sensor at all. But I guess since the sensor has its own bolt it might be okay, I'll take a look at it tomorrow. Thanks for the replies.

I have these brackets as well, one is still usable, the other got thrashed when my bearings decided they wanted to be pixie dust. The previous owner of my truck just cut the sensor wires and left the sensor itself in this bracket. If you really need the bracket thingy I can see about taking mine out depending on how much of a pain it is to get to. Warning you though my laziness is only surpassed by my greed so no guarantees I'll pull it off.

What side do you need it for? I think I Have a brand new one from ford for the Passenger side.

What's the P/N on that thing? Half wit and my local dealer couldn't "locate" such a part.

Bummer, I need a drivers side one. And legoms, the part number is 44619 LH (Drivers side), and i'm assuming the passenger side is 44619 RH.

Thanks!

I'd send you mine but they broke where the bolt goes in and are useless :icon_twisted:

Hey no worries man. Its the thought that counts. :icon_thumby:
It sucks how some parts seem as if they have been wiped off the face of the earth.

Thanks for the offer Kryptonite. I PM'd you about the part.
And I can throw in some money if you would like, to "feed the greed".

lol, I replied back, with christmas on the way I think we are all feeling a bit greedy, being a broke college kid trying to fund his toy doesn't help any

Turns out Kryptonite had a passenger side bracket, instead of driver side. He was ****ing with me!
Haha jokes aside, thanks for trying to help me out. :icon_thumby:
