So I just love the look of Gen 1 mirrors,
so do you think it would work to put Gen 1 mirrors on my 93 B2600i?

and those mirrors are also on sec gen ranger as well

oh, i really never noticed them on gen II's,
so any of you think i could do it?

Gen 1 mirrors.... :bad: JMO. They look too big, bulky and awkward. Reminds me of a person with huge ears that stick out. I like your stock mirrors much better.

im game with boggin, twitch need those mirrors, my 82 f150 had those dinky @$$ little mirrors, took a set off a e-150, like a 88,89ish, just like on that ranger up top. screwed them right to the door, make sure and seal it up so it dont rust

ok thanks for your opinion and everyone elses,
but guess what,
things are going great and i have 98% chance of getting the ranger itself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

In that case I would leave them on the Ranger, and pick up a set from a junkyard for you Mazda if you decide to keep it.

I have yet to find a set of Ranger mirrors that look as good and are as functional as the western style breakaway mirrors.:icon_thumby:

ok...I'm gonna be nice here....

Why bother. I mean, it's a *&@#ing b2600I! I had a b2200, and the best place for those damn trucks is a scrapyard, preferably after being set on fire and cut into 10 or more pieces. :icon_welder:

Instead, Don't worry about the mirrors, and worry about getting the ranger. :icon_thumby:

Sorry for the rant, but I hated that damn Mazda.

ok?
thanks for your honest opinion anyways?

well i love my truck, but its a pile of shit, so i dont really love it,
I love the ranger!
the maxda will most likely be just pushed out in the woods where i cant see it, and parts for the ranger if there is any..thanks for all the input, im so excited for thursday to come!!!!

ok, I know I'm digging this up out of the graveyard here, but I have to ask...

I love the breakaway mirrors... hate the flappers...

I'm in the process of repairing/restoring a set of mirrors because I don't like the re-man mirrors crappy parts and how it feels like it's made out of all aluminum....

so, I've got my photos sent to Nu-Chrome to find out a cost to get everything chromed back up and the aluminum bracket repaired (minor dings) and polished with hardware holding everything together.

so, has anyone thought to do this (dumb question... probably not huh) or think it's a neat idea?

You know, you probably have a better chance of people replying to a new thread than to an old "boggin" thread. No offense to him, of course.
