Freeze Plug Locations - 84 2.3

I'm looking at a mustang with a 2.3 and the current owner thinks it's got a freeze plug leaking. It's on the back of the engine and he believe the one that's leaking is behind the flywheel. I've never seen an engine with one back there but my 4 cylinder experience is limited to Toyota too. Is there a plug in this location or is there one somewhere else on the back of the engine that could be mistaken for being there?

there could be ive seen then under the trans bell housing and on the head think it all on the yr of the engine

Mmmm, lucky you. Could be the one on the back of the head or the one that's underneath the bellhousing.
