"I'm giving away this 1969 Ford Mustang 428 Cobra Jet, it's originally belonged to my deceased husband. He used to drive it when he was still with me. However, since he has been gone so far, the car has remained here unused. I am not making any use of it either. If you have a genuine interest in the car and can provide a good reason for using it, you may send me a direct message with a brief description of yourself and explain how you intend to maintain the car if it is given to you."

FYI, that does not look like Texas, and that truck in the pic dors mot have Texas plates. But omagine how awesome it would be if this woman was really giving this car away.

What an unusual listing! And yes, we need to watch out for scams on Facebook

I think thats a pennsylvania tag on the truck. As far as i can tell from zooming in. Not to mention judging by the amount of dust and shit on its been in that barn for atleast 20 years. How long ago did he die?

I highly doubt this is legit. But thsts what sucks about modern day online selling platforms....you might pass up a once in a lifetime deal like this (if it was true) because youre afraid of getting scammed.

But i got a feeling its "loaded in a shipping crate" waiting on your 500 dollar "refundable" shipping deposit.

If it's real I hope the car ends up with someone who appreciates what it is. The tow bar tabs sticking out under the bumper make me think it used to be a drag car.

looks like an older Michigan plate on the truck, stones and barn definitely resemble Pennsylvania.

My thought too.
