Did some reading on another site yesterday and found out that I can accomplish my 2" of lift on the rear using f-150 leafs.

Trick is to scrap the main leaf from the f-150 pack and swap the rest on to the explorer main.

So I went out on the hunt today and picked up a set of f-150 springs in great shape for $60.

But I got back home too late after running around and I have to go get my daughter from school in 20 minutes.

Wanted to get at those today! :annoyed: lol.

Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

OH!! And I also got a price of $175 for a replacement t-case! :yahoo:

Watch out mud...I'll be out to fling you around soon!!! :D

Oh Yeah? Let us know how those work out for yah. Interested in how much lift they give you, and how much stiffer they are...
Are they still a 3-leaf+Overload setup?
edit - rather, will they be?

If you include the main, it's 4 leaf plus overload. So a total of 5.

The guy said it's wayyy stiffer, but it's not obnoxiously stiff. Still manageable.
