You can see the rust marks. Bottom and top right rivets. Other side of the truck looks ok.

This is on the passenger side just in front of the rear tire. I've only had the truck for a year and I'm sure I didn't see these before but who knows how long its been like this. I don't off road it, logging road in the summer is the most beating it takes.

Can I get it fixed?

see how much shit is living in the mount. likely some stones in there with the mud.

those need to be blowed out periodically.

regardless. i see that with the tough trucks running short/ or rather stock shocks and suspension that end up bent too. of course over loading the truck could do it as well, but to that extent the mount point of the bed would be crushed and the seams split.....you should see mine:icon_rofl:

basically stop drill and grind them crack out good and crank the heat on the welder.....run a fish plate if your scared and keep on truckin.

But this is just a daily driver. Bed mounts don't show any damage. No accidents.

This only has 100k miles on it.

Just got unlucky?

It definitely looks like something was stressing the shock mount. Are the shocks on it the correct length? Maybe they're too long and bottoming out when the suspension compresses?

The metal is not very thick. Do you think a 120V mig would do it? Doesn't look to be more than 1/8 or 3/16 at the most.

I just had this problem myself few months back. I did it like bobbywalter said and I just used a 120v mig. All is good now. I would look into your shock length as that was the cultrip with mine they were too short.
