As rubydist mentioned, the frames changed significantly in 1998. Also, the frames must match what you have. Regular cab with regular cab, Supercab (extended) with extended cab. Also, drive type needs to match unless you are stripping the sheetmetal from one truck and plunking it down on the other. Some internal panels might need to be changed as well if going from RWD to 4X4. One thing I'm definitely not sure on is if you are going from automatic to stick. I'm not sure if there is a bolt on panel in the floor for the stick shift or not. You could make the frame you are asking about work but it may take some fabrication and welding to do it.
It would be better to find a truck 1997 or earlier that matches what you have.
