Following advice from Brutus, I decided to replace the fluid in my transmission. When I pulled the drain plug, there was a piece of metal on the magnet. It looks like a gear tooth, a bit smaller than a pencil eraser.

Before I pulled it to do the clutch the only issue was popping out of 5th gear. I asked around and the majority told me it was most likely the slave. When I did get in there to check things out, the slave was pretty bad.

Between this and the clutch issues and all the water leaks, i'm pretty close to getting a gas can and some matches:pissedoff:

Take some 3M gutter sealer (clear) and run a thin bead around the 3rd brake light and upper half of the back window. I'm assuming this is what you mean by water leak.

There was a crack in the seam sealer in the right rear upper cab corner and several around the windshield. got them a sealed up and hit it with a pressure washer and left the truck in the rain for a few days. Not a drop.

When I went to drain the transmission fluid, the fill plug was in there pretty tight and looked like a PO had used vice grips in it before. I looked on the web for a new one with no luck. Is the dealer my only option here?
