Got all excited the other day when I was digging through some paperwork and found all my original paperwork -- the owner guide and the rest of the publications I got when I first bought the truck. Also found the file folder where I had been keeping all the service records. This is important to me as it details everything that was done to the vehicle up until I stopped driving it in 2011. It shows that I had the rear drums serviced at 212,000 miles, just before I mothballed her. The rears were up next on my to do list. Now it appears I won't have to do much other than take a look and clean 'em up a bit.
It also showed regular oil changes every 5 tp 6,000 miles - highly unusual for a procrastinator like myself - with the last change at 213,199. I haven't yet turned 214, but already replaced all the fluids. Made me very happy thought I'd share.
