Well today my old man called me asking if I wanted a winch for my truck, So I went over to his house tonight to see what he had.
It turned out to be a 8000lb ramsey winch, that had been sitting in someones yard for a while due to the grass stuck in the cable. it appears to need new selonoids and new wiring. over all it probabley overkill for a ranger but my plan is to mount is to a hitch style receiver so i can use it on either truck and also switch between front and back.
more info on the winch is it is a 12v electric worm drive style.
Any info you guys have would be great and I know this sucks without pics.
