FORScan or Ford's New Generation STAR(NGS) 007-00500?

I was looking at other stuff last night and still see stuff cheap, but then $34 shipping (on like a $1 part that amazon wants $10).... I'm just sitting on anything till the bluster blows over... don't know if you saw it but Trump backpedaled on even the china tarrifs yesterday.

Yes. I saw that. But we don't know what that's going to mean yet. And I need the scanner now. Torque isn't letting me reset codes anymore for some reason. Going to give Forscan a try this week.

/\ thats the one i have. We bought it a month ago and it works great with forscan in my 24 ranger. I turned on all kinds of cool stuff and put the raptor splash on the big center screen.


I still havent tried it on my 04 ranger but i suppose i should

The vLinker showed up today. Looks to be a little better packaged. Included a short instruction sheet. Will connect it up and give it a try today.

I tried the VLinker + Forscan and am very pleased.

Easy to set up and easy to use.

Let me clear the codes. And is showing realtime data as it happens. Great stuff.

I have a P0305 that I cleared. Watched the engine warm up, no misfires. Then when it got good and warm ~190F, it started showing misfires. P0305 pending, but no check engine light as yet. So the combination is going to be great for my needs.
