Anyone know how to turn a forscan live data log into an actual uploadable video file? :dunno:

I have the log recorded and can play it back on forscan but i wanna make it a youtube video. Even some kind of screen recorder would work I guess. I dont use my laptop for anything but forscan so i know nothing about that stuff. I think its windows 8?

Windows computer? I just learned this a week or so ago. There’s a program called game box that lets you record apps or game play as video footage. Look it up on YouTube for exact details. You have to set a permission for the app you want to record such as the video player app. Then with game box open you hit win+Ctrl+R buttons simultaneously. A little box pops up where you can click on a microphone icon to have it record audio if you want to do voice-over.

It’s something like that. I recorded some stuff I was doing in photoshop. It’s pretty cool.

Thanks! My last resort was gonna be holding the phone to record the screen while the log data plays on the laptop. :icon_rofl:

Voice over will be cool!

If you send me the recording file I may be able to turn it into a video.

There are a few screen recording programs native to the version of Windows I run on my desktop.

AZ Screen Recorder is what I use on my phone. I think they have a PC version too.
