Well I just spent the past two days reading this thread.

Great work on the truck man, what you have done is amazing, it kind of inspires me to go work on my truck and get some fab skills, keep up the good work, I will defiantly be following this one!

Congrats on your son by the way!

finally got a chance to get back on trs, its crazy how fast nearly 2 months can go by. i dont have any updates yet but i am working on reworking my sound system with kenwood components and ditching the mtx junk thats in there. ill have pics to post once i have some progress to show.

At first I was like "Holy shit, an update!" then I clicked it and it turns out there wasn't one.

I know it was just a teaser, but i can happily say ive put 3,000 trouble free miles on thumper and im ready to go another 3,000 before i make the switch to royal purple.

It's all good, man, just glad to see something after weeks of checking in =]. I look forward to seeing your kenwood setup. Just installed a Kenwood deck in my Ranger, couldn't be happier with it.

Ive got 3 new kenwood 1502s 2 channel amplifiers to replace the mtx amps with, im still researching which xceleon head unit i want to get since the one that sounds like the best unit for me apparently has face plate connectivity problems. Im also looking at my options as fars as speakers go, im going to be needing something with a 60-75w rms rating and even then im still up in the air about how i want to configure the speakers with the amps. I guess some more planning and a little bit of browsing in the audio archives is going to be needed.

So i guess the kenwood setup was just a teaser as well because i decided to send the amps back to amazon. Instead i bought 1 more mtx rt202 to replace the center amp that powers the door speakers, and i also ordered a 9007 hi/low HID kit since its now dark when i go to work and its dark when i come home. Since i dont have any pics of the new goodies i though i would just post up some pictures of what ive been doing at my new job so you guys will have a better idea of what a pump mechanic is.

Here some of the pics from new job, i do alot of traveling around the state in order to pick up, drop off, or do field service on pumps.

These pics are from Splash Universe waterpark in Dundee, MI.

The 3 pumps inside the pump house draw water out of this retention pit and send it to the 3 cooling towers, where it spills over and cools the towers off before returning to the retention pit again.

Ive got many more but apparently my phone didnt upload them to photo bucket when i took them, so i guess thats all for now.

I noticed a distinct lack of 94 Ranger building in that last post, but I do admit those pics were pretty badass.

I got the HIDs in last night, theyre 6000k 35w hi/ low 9007 relector style kit with digital ballasts. I bought them on www.ultimatehidkits.com and it took about 2 weeks to get them. So far theyre awesome, they seem extremely bright but no one has flashed me yet so either theyre aimed just right or people are getting really tolerant of these HID lights.
