Pulled the leafs from the truck and forgot to take a note of which direction they went.

Anyone wanna take a peak under their truck and tell me which side has the larger eyelet, or which side has the metal clampy dealy on it? (F/R)

Also, if anyone knows how to tell left from right that would be cool too. I'm pretty sure I have them set on the correct sides but I can't be certain.

These are leaf springs from a 5th gen btw.

On mine, the long side of the leaf is from the axle to the shackle, and the short side from the axle up to the front hanger due to the centerpin dividing the leaf in 1/3 and 2/3.

Long side to the rear. I'm not aware of any way to tell them left from right, but that doesn't mean there isn't a way. I don't think it matters though.

If they were sagging before, aka ranger lean, I'd swap them left to right :icon_thumby:

These are out of an 06 so I hope they're not sagging yet. My factory ones were sagging bad. :D My leveling kit actually raised the front 1" above the rear.

Are all leaf springs eye sizes the same? I can't find bushings for '06 leafs ANYWHERE.

Found a set for 1993-1997 for $40. Same size?
