Am I the only one that thinks the new F-150 grill looks like a Big Ol' Chevy bowtie. I saw a white f-150 with a blacked out grill and I bout shit my pants. It looks like a BIG ASS BOWTIE. wtf.

this pic isn't the one I saw, but you can see what I'm talking about.
I think a chevy designer slipped through the cracks and pulled a slick one one ford.

No, I think it looks kind of like a harmonica though.

I do not care for the look at all. Aside from a slight reprieve 15-17 they generally keep getting uglier.

I completely agree all of these trucks are getting uglier. Hell if the front caps get any higher and wider they are gonna have to get freightliner to build them a custom rear open hood. I hate how much bumper and grill all the new trucks have.

If they made the cabs flip ahead like an old cab-over that wouldn't be too bad of an idea. :icon_idea:

That'd be a lot smarter than anything they are doing now.

Like making their grill a chevy bowtie.:icon_confused:

I've been saying that for years. My best description is that they look "artificially big" like overgrown toys. I haven't seen a good-looking new truck from any mfr in many years. I also agree more with the harmonica comparison than the bowtie.

I understand that for towing a large load, the tow vehicle must have the proper size, wheelbase and weight to properly control the load being towed. For off-road use, big, long, tall, heavy is more difficult to maneuver in tight quarters on a trail. There really is no "one size fits all".

Other than the small engine bay, I'm pretty happy with my single cab, short bed ranger.

They kinda are...

As long as they look meaner/tougher than the truck the buyer has now and especially what the neighbor has...

I did kinda like the 15-17 from certain angles. Other angles the front kinda comes to a point behind the grille too much, kind of like a pig nose or something.

I do like the cleaner lines the new-to-us Ranger has vs the F-150.

So we're going with Harmonica ??? :icon_confused:If that's what us ford guys 'have' to say then OK, but its a damn CHEVY Bowtie.:bawling:

Awwww. Don't get hurt. I definitely see where you're coming from. I just think the proportions and angles are too far off.

Of course, if I was obsessed with Chevys I would see that bowtie everywhere. [emoji14]

Touche'
remember when the Monte Carlo had the bowtie shaped headlights (90's), it wasn't a perfect bowtie but it was still obviously their attempt to slip it in the design. And ford did it with the OVAL shaped grill and headlights with the Explorer too. it does happen

Anyone else see a Capital "F"?
