As many of you know, Ford has given me a 2019 Ford Ranger FX4 to use for the next 6-months. What I haven't told you, is that I am working with Ford and the aftermarket to finalize a special 20th Anniversary Edition TRS Ford Ranger. The truck is a special order package that you'll be able to order from your dealer starting in June.

This will be Fords response to the new Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison

The TRS Anniversary Edition starts with the FX4 off-road package and adds:

3-Inch High-Rider Suspension Lift
33-Inch Mud Terrains
Allied Wheels
Front Locker
Ford Performance Winch Bumper
Snorkel

On the inside, the Ranger gets an all black leather interior for easy cleaning, an upgraded GPS system designed with Fords new TRS-X Off-Road Navigation System, an optional Keep Kool Konsole (center console) to keep those beverages cold on the trail, and a built in tissue holder when you realize that none of this is real.

Stay Tuned!!

Dang! I read the whole thing with 'please don't be an April Fools joke!' running through my head. If only!

I would have been a lot more upset if I saw a Coyote mentioned...

When I first saw this posted on Facebook, I thought to myself wow what a long way the forum must have gone since I had been there. I can remember back 10 years when Ford sent a cease and desist letter to you for selling stickers. Now they're making a TRS edition Ranger. But it was just a April fools day joke. You got me good. I even had to try and remember what my username and password was.

They did really give me a 2019 Ford Ranger to use for 6-months though (y)

I really should learn to read the whole thread....

Have you begun taking the drivetrain out of it? Give it back with a old 3.0 in it... :secret:

That's pretty awesome! I guess I have been super out of touch. Maybe it's time to bring the turboranger out of moth balls.

Yes....yes it is.

If Ford did build it, they'd have to include a brochure that answered:

1 - What size tires can I fit without a lift?
2 - How can I raise the front of my truck to make it level with the rear?
3 - What's the cheapest way to add more horsepower?
4 - I'm not providing any details about my truck, or pictures, but how do I fix this mystery issue that's clunking underneath?
5 - What muffler do I buy to make my truck louder?
