ford ranger SORV

It is the ford ranger SORV and it is not available in north america. I would like to know if anyone has more info on this truck im just curious.

It actually looks alot like the North American Ranger... with 6 lug wheels.

The 12 month warrenty is a nice touch, they must put alot of faith into their product.

I hate the EPA I would live in a cloud of smog to get a truck like that. I wander If the diesel will ever pass the epa a test in the states.

The issue isn't getting the import diesels to pass emmissions.
the issue is getting them to pass emmissions on US specification diesel fuel.

US spec diesel fuel is real crap compared to that available in europe.

well, the truck is designed to be offroaded,

so that means parts break down faster,

if ford warrantied 3 years, 36k miles on those rangers, they would be put out of business

That is just the Thai Ranger...not really a very spectacular vehicle. It is mostly a Mazda anyway.
