I would be easier to remove the door lock cylinder and take it to a lock smith, he can then make keys for that lock and they will work in the ignition switch.
Assuming they used the same keys.
1995 might be too old but with the VIN number a Ford dealer "may" be able to make you a key. I believe they only do that for 10 years so '95 may not be available at 19 years
Bring the registration/title with you
If none of the above work then you will need to drill out the old cylinder, the problem with that is you often damage the switch, so new cylinder won't work well.
Actually (little known fact) half the bumps on your key are for the door, the other half is for the ignition, so they can't cut an ignition key from a door cylinder ( according to a locksmith) Try the vin# at ford, they made one for my son's '95 explorer last year
