What the hell were they intoxicated with when they designed that?

Oh I know it's not the best looking truck, but if it sells well maybe the other companies (Ford for one) will see there is a market for diesels and jump on board.

If those trucks weren't hideously ugly I'd sign up. They look like they borrow from the Explorer, B-Series, European Ranger, and Jeep all at the same time.

They're not just in England, they are all over Europe. I have lived in Belgium for the last 3 years and every fricken motor out there is Diesel! It is hard to not find one. Those Rangers are quite sharp as matter of fact, I have driven one in the Ford dealership just 20 minutes from my house! Smooth, quiet, and quick!! I have thought for some time that America needs to get on the ball when it come to Diesels and matching up with Europe, they have been doing it for ages!!! Great gas milage as well, blows any gasoline engine outta tha water!

I know that. I used to live in Germany and Portugal aswell. A lot of the cars are diesels and get far better mileage than the Prius which everyone is so worked up about.

The most important option they could offer, in my opinion, is a manual transmission. It seems most companies, including Ford are doing away with them in favor of the new 6spd slushboxes or CVTs. The F150s don't have them and they are talking about discontinuing them on the Super Duty models. Then I'd hope for a turbo diesel.
