TRS Event Ford Ranger 40th Anniversary - Truck Nationals - Carlisle PA

not really...the nature and scope of my work changed last friday.

i am central ohio now....till after the 12th.

One week to go. We ready?

I'm almost ready enough. Going to check alignment on the Beast (F250) tomorrow. It tracks nice. But I don't like the wear I'm getting on the new tires. Otherwise, It's just little "nice to do" things that I want to do.Charge camera batteries. Plus, inspect and test camp lanterns and stove and start piling camping gear near the front door for fast and easy loading on Wednesday morning.

I feel compelled to maximize my time at the show, which means I won't feel like taking time to cook early breakfasts and late dinners at the campground. Probably going to be a lot of take-out food. I'm not really sure about any of it. So this will be more of an unplanned, "figure it out on the fly" thing for me.

There are lots of different food stands and trailers at the Fairgrounds. I tend to wake up early but I don't like to move real fast when I do. But then we're like 15 miles away. If it's like the Ford Nationals there isn't much point in being there after 5:30-6:00.

I really need one of those... last camp I did with no fan was miserable for me.

Going commando with a kilt... and that fan...

The zippered hoodie and the T-Shirts came in. So, between them and the Staff Member shirts, I should be all set.

This company sucks. I’ve had an issue each time I’ve ordered from them. I just filed a dispute with PayPal against them because they haven’t bothered to refund me, replace the wrong color shirt, or even return my last 2 emails.

Mine came out ok. I wasn't thrilled about only having the choice of 100% cotton for the shirts. I hope I plus sized the size enough to compensate for the shrinking that will happen. I though the hoodie material could be heavier but it was $36. I only plan to wear them for events. So, we'll see how they hold up.

EDIT: The screen printing seems more sticker like than screen printing. I wonder how long that will hold up.

Made a portable base for the TRS flag pole. Not good for high winds. But, with just 12ft of pole, it will probably work inside the building at Carlisle or maybe even at the tent area. I'll try to clean it up and throw some paint on it before Wednesday.

I started putting all the stuff I need to bring with me together. I’m charging batteries. M18s for my fan, m12s for my lantern, batteries for my GoPro (I don’t think I’ll need it), battery for my Sony A6000 camera (I need to see if I can pick up another battery or 2 locally. 2 of my batteries were bulged and I threw them out.), and my Midland handhelds.

Last time I ordered... one of my shirts didn't even have the URL on it.

The zippered hoodies are pretty thin too.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if Jim changed shirt vendors.
