Hello everyone, I am new to the group and would love some help, thanks!

I have a ford ranger 1996 4.0 v6 and recently while driving it bumped a couple of times, while losing power then shutoff. The truck would not overheat and would keep running for about 4-5minutes before it would start bumping again. I had to have it towed home. I have changed a couple of things; crank pos sensor, coolant temp sender and sensor, new battery terminals, had a new MAF, TPS and IAC valve and fuel filter before that incident. I just picked up a new PCV valve too( the old one wasn't clogged but i was able to blow through both sides of it and let air through?) and a new ignition switch.

If anyone has any ideas of what it could be it would be really appreciated to get the Ranger Danger back on the road;)

You will have to better describe what it is doing. "Bumping" is not a common troubleshooting term for a vehicle.

Does it always do it cold or warm or both?

What is it doing? Miss-firing and running rough? You say it eventually quits? Or sometimes it doesn't quit?

After all these new parts does it act the same or does it have different symptoms as well? Did you save all the old parts? When changing parts you really have to be careful lately, many new parts are bad out of the box.

Is there a reason you changed he MAF, TPS, and IAC valve before this happened? Do you still have the old MAF you could put back on?

Have you had anyone put a code reader on it?
