If you buy a new Ford vehicle, like a Ranger - be it a base XL or a Lariat, you get 40,000 points. That'll get you 3 dealer oil changes, or accessories from Ford.

Folks are so used to trading their privacy for "rewards" they never take the time to read just what it is they have given up.

By using location search services, you agree that we can disclose this information to Telenav for its use for these purposes.

The only thing that makes me slightly curious about activating FordPass in mine is the idea that maaaaaaybe Ford can update the Sync system to react a bit quicker.

But that's a BIG slightly.
