Ford motorsports speedometer questions

Went to a local junkyard today and scored one of the 140 mph first gen speedometers for a steal. Was wondering of there is anything special I need to do to get it to read correctly or if it is a drop in and go kind of deal. If anyone would be willing to email me some original instructions that would be awesome too. I have searched for info to no avail and figured someone must know.

Its run by speedometer cable so plug and play
Calibration is done with speedo cable's Driven gear in trans, if current speedo is correct then new one will be
