Hi all, new to the ranger station. I'm starting a street legal prerunner build on my 95 4wd. I'm starting by replacing old worn out suspension parts. I had a rear shock mount fall off due to rust.
My dilemma being I'm a stickler and would rather buy the mounts as a pair. I can't find any as a pair in a affordable price range. Buddy of mine is buying a subwoofer of me and his payment is gonna be replacing my shock mounts. All I'm finding is individual and it comes out to be outside the price range.
My question is: I found a pair of replacements for a Ford 250, they look identical. Was wondering if I could use those on my 95?
Btw it's the top mount in the rear

Make real ones.

Aye. How rotten is the frame rail?

Spring king have the mounts pretty reasonable.

The bolt pattern to bolt to the frame will be wrong on the 250 mounts. The diameter of the stud to go through the shock will also likely be incorrect.

True.

It is why I asked about the rot.

Drilling two new holes will walk cracks in short order . Leaving the sleeve out will allow the eye to fit fine....

I prefer to build a new bridge mount with both shocks on one side of the axle. There are many ways to pull that off with common tools....grinder, drill, and wrenches.

I couldn't find "spring king" on Google. All it searched was a garage door company and furniture stores.
