please note will only run on windows xp and older (i use a virtual machine of win xp my self to open and use it)

good free vm software is https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads keep in mind if you need a vm you must also have a valid copy of xp to install on vm

Is it something that requires being connected to the vehicle somehow?

it is like a service manual but for just ford vehicles
