ford 9 inch?

ok guys been doing some thinking and and found out where i can get a really cool ford 9 inch rear end that will work perfect with my thinking. but what i was wondering is what it would take to hang two 9 inch rearends under my ranger. like i need some ideas on how to setup the springs r whatever i might could use to mount the 2?

srry if it didnt make any sense but ull see what im talking about if i figure out how to mount the 2

I don't know quite how you'd run drive shafts using 9" axles.

But I'm sure you could mount the leafs for one on the out side of the chassis (stock set up) and then weld up some hangers sitting under the chassis.... I guess

i got the drivetrain covered that might work if i could ****** rig a set of shackles but i need the rear axlel to be close to the bumper so the middle axle will be closer to the front of the bed that way ill have space for 35 r so inch tires

The 9" aint no top loader, unless there's some magical third member that turns it into a tiny 1/2 ton rockwell.

You know what would be really cool...do the 9" front axle mod too

I have never seen that setup either. That is really cool.

you could try something like what the semi's use which is something like a swing arm and a air bag, which basically equals out to a really short 4 link setup for each axle, and instead of airbags you could use coil overs.

i thought about coilovers but that is prolly gonna cost several arms and legs and i was also thinking i will need a limit strap for eatch axle to keep the shaft from binding up during up down travel right?

yea coilovers can get really pricy, and your probably right about the straps, but your going to have to have some kind of crazy tiny driveshaft between the 2 axles anyways. and im sure you already have but try researching the dodge t-rex, heres a vid from youtube to show what im talking about and what it seems you ultimate goal is

yeah the t-rex is my idol ive watched every vid i could find on that truck. i think he uses a custom 4 link sus for the rear and i dont have that kind of money
