ford 8.8 and chrysler 8.25 axle diff

everything is different, and the 8.8 is better and has lots more aftermarket.

and generally speaking, chrysler axles are complete crap, why would you want to put one in your ranger?

If you want a good Chrysler rear end, go right for the 8.75, built like a 9" with the drop-out center section. Came behind the big blocks and also some of the Darts/Dusters/Cuda's with a narrower rear end.
