ford 7.5 same as gm 7.5?

well, just received a set of 4.56 gears from WCD. the rear set is in a box marked GM 7.5! are they the same as the Ford 7.5 gears? seems like there shouldn't be any difference if the sizes are exactly the same, 7.5. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

No, they are very much different.

yep. found that out when i called back to WCD. they sent out the correct gear set the same day. thanks for the reply.

shopped around and they had the best prices for both gear sets, "master" install kits, and LS. would have to recommend them for sure!
