EDIT: This pattern also fits 289 V8's (not early 5 bolt blocks), 351W V8's, 300/4.9 I6, 240 I6, 250 I6
Figured it'd be useful for someone doing a interesting engine swap (diesel or other) and deciding on a FSB tranny. I took these measurements off of a 1978 302 on my colleges CMM machine, accurate to within at least .001".
The dowels are marked and they offer offset dowels to "refine" the positioning of the bellhousing. I can guarantee if it doesn't line up within tolerance with the straight dowels, a set of offset ones will get it there. There are no sizes listed, I'll leave those for you to measure with a good caliper, micrometer or thread gage. The unmarked holes are for bolts.
