I notice one of my fog lamps was not working. I took a look and found that the connection from the bulp to the "pigtail" connector is burnt on one of the contacts. It has melted the plastic on the connector. I cleaned it out the best I could and got it to work for a little while, but the wires and the bulb get exetremly hot and it just stops working after a while Does anyone no of a good place to get JUST THE CONNECTOR, I think I could probably wire it.:icon_confused:

Any advice or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks all:beer:

You can get the pigtails from your local dealer.

I picked up some pigtails at napa for $5 each

yeah I was trying to avoid the dealer, thanks. Im going to check out Napa and CarQuest.

I may just replace the whole unit because it looks as if there is a significant amount of moistrue in the lens itself.

I was thinking, if that wire is really burnt then how far you guys think I should go back when wiring?
